It's Valentine's Day

It's Valentine's Day, not a day just for you and your helpmate to share, but a day for you to share with everyone that you come into contact with for the day. Today, share a smile with everyone you see, help someone by holding a door open at a store for them. You get the idea, make today about everyone!

The two teens were shown love by this proud Mom this morning when I made heart shaped cinnamom rolls for them for breakfast before they left for School. It was a simple thing to make and do, and an easy way for me to show my two teens how much I care about them and love them. I find that chocolates don't always get eaten in our home and usually they'll still have Halloween candy when Christmas or Easter rolls in, so I bought them each an i-tunes card, this is something that they will definately use and something that they love to get!

Need ideas for a cute and fun Valentine Dinner....pizza! I plan on making heart shaped mini pizzas for dinner tonight with the teens "decorating" their own with their favorite toppings! So easy, yet so fun and so yummy! Dessert....I think we'll make heart shaped sugar cookies and the teens can decorate with either red sprinkles or white icing.

All of these ideas are easy, cheap, quick and fun, but most of all it involves family and time together.

Although we can show love to our helpmate, children, family, friends and strangers in so many ways, remember....

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
